Morfologia edytuj
Długość ciała 11,5–21,5 cm, masa ciała 13–26,3 g[4].
Systematyka edytuj
Etymologia edytuj
Łacińskie cantus – pieśń < canere – śpiewać; greckie ορχιλος orkhilos – strzyżyk[5].
Podział systematyczny edytuj
Takson wyodrębniony z Thryothorus[2][6][7][8]. Do rodzaju należą następujące gatunki[9]:
- Cantorchilus leucopogon – pręgostrzyżyk płowy
- Cantorchilus thoracicus – pręgostrzyżyk ciemny
- Cantorchilus superciliaris – pręgostrzyżyk białolicy
- Cantorchilus leucotis – pręgostrzyżyk amazoński
- Cantorchilus longirostris – pręgostrzyżyk długodzioby
- Cantorchilus guarayanus – pręgostrzyżyk boliwijski
- Cantorchilus semibadius – pręgostrzyżyk rzeczny
- Cantorchilus nigricapillus – pręgostrzyżyk maskowy
- Cantorchilus modestus – pręgostrzyżyk skromny
- Cantorchilus zeledoni – pręgostrzyżyk nizinny – takson wyodrębniony ostatnio z C. modestus[10]
