English: Continuing our maritime theme for this week we jump from the beauty of Dingle Harbour to the (typically) splendid isolation of Tory Island off the coast of Donegal. The locals have an important visitor and as ever their hospitality to visitors is warm and welcoming. We are confident of identifying one, but can we name the other men in this Tynan shot from 1989?

The general consensus is that the men pictured here are (right to left): Alan Dukes (then leader of Fine Gael), Pól Ó Foighil (FG politician & activist for island communities), and Dinny McGinley (FG politician & TD for Donegal SW). It seems quite likely that this image was captured in "An Club" - Tory's social club....
