Opis AWM caption : "Southsea, England. c. 1917. Port bow view of eight crew and officers of the submarine HMS C3 gathered around the conning tower of the submarine a short distance off the coast. The original print is autographed with the following names: W. Harner, W. G. Cleaver, H. C. Bendall, Allan G. Roxburgh. On 1918-04-23 the submarine was deliberately exploded under the bridge leading to the mole at Zeebrugge, Belgium, to prevent German reinforcements moving further down the mole."
