Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Potrivit anexei nr. 1.3, stema comunei Stremţ se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat şi despicat în partea superioară. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp roşu, se află o cruce treflată de aur. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp argintiu, se află un copac cu coroana verde, având tulpina şi rădăcina de culoare neagră. În vârful scutului, în câmp albastru, se află un corb negru, având în cioc un inel de aur, aşezat pe un zid de cetate de argint, privind spre stânga. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate: Crucea reprezintă Episcopia Geoagiului. Copacul întruchipează un nuc şi face referire la vechea denumire a localităţii, Nucet. Zidul simbolizează cetatea Diod din localitate, iar corbul face parte din blazonul familiei Iancu de Hunedoara, căruia i-a aparţinut cetatea. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
