Scottish Premier League w piłce siatkowej mężczyzn (2022/2023)

Scottish Premier League 2022/2023 − 54. sezon ligowych mistrzostw Szkocji w piłce siatkowej zorganizowany przez stowarzyszenie Scottish Volleyball. Zainaugurowany został 1 października 2022 roku i trwał do 29 kwietnia 2023 roku.

W Premier League uczestniczyło osiem drużyn. Do najwyższej klasy rozgrywkowej dołączył mistrz League One – Glasgow Mets. Rozgrywki składały się z fazy zasadniczej oraz finału. W fazie zasadniczej zespoły rozegrały między sobą po dwa mecze. Dwa najlepsze awansowały do finału.

Finał odbył się 29 kwietnia 2023 roku w Institute of Sport and Exercise w Dundee. Po raz trzynasty ligowe mistrzostwo Szkocji zdobył klub City of Glasgow Ragazzi, który w finale pokonał City of Edinburgh[1]. Trzecie miejsce zajął zespół NUVOC. Do League One spadł klub South Ayrshire[2].

System rozgrywek edytuj

Scottish Premier League w sezonie 2022/2023 składała się z fazy zasadniczej oraz finału[3].

W fazie zasadniczej 8 drużyn rozegrało ze sobą po dwa spotkania systemem kołowym (każdy z każdym – mecz u siebie i rewanż na wyjeździe). Dwa najlepsze zespoły awansowały do finału. Drużyna, która zajęła 7. miejsce, trafiła do baraży, natomiast ta, która fazę zasadniczą zakończyła na 8. miejscu, spadła do niższej ligi.

Mecz finałowy odbył się na neutralnym terenie.
