Hello plwiki. Sometimes users have problems making a user account and need assistance. Is there a process on plwiki that we can refer users with this problem to? It could be documentation, a contact form, VRT, etc. One example is if an IP block is precenting account creation. Many projects have this process documented in the links at d:Q11009153. Thank you!

Welcome to plwiki! If you are having trouble creating an account and need help, you can contact one of the account creators (user list). If you are having difficulty creating an account or logging in because your IP address has been blocked, you can request permission to log in from blocked IP addresses. Alternatively, you can contact VRT too.

@BZPN, Xaosflux is quite experienced user, with bureaucrat and steward permissions :) The question was, whether we have described a process for users who struggling with sigh up - the answer is: we don't. Hello @BZPN and @IOIOI! Pardon my English, I'm pl-0. We've been checking with larger projects to try to determine where to route people that want accounts - and are primarily prevented because of IP blocks. These are generally good blocks, that may have some collateral damage (such a range block against vandals that only applies to logged out editors - but is also preventing potentially good faith new editors). Some projects have built entire workflows (e.g. https://accounts.wmflabs.org/ ), some prefer VRT, some use mailing lists, etc. We don't suggest "use the IP talk page to request a username" - as the requester would need to disclose their email and IP.
