Występowanie edytuj
Płaz ten jest gatunkiem endemicznym spotykanym tylko w Kolumbii. Żyje na terenach górskich i rzekach klimatu zwrotnikowego, jak i podzwrotnikowego. Jak wiele endemitów, jest zagrożony ze względu na zanik jego środowiska naturalnego.
