Somerset Maugham Award
Somerset Maugham Award – brytyjska nagroda literacka, przyznawana corocznie w maju przez związek zawodowy pisarzy Society of Authors. Laureatem jest mający mniej niż 35 lat autor lub autorka książki wydanej w roku poprzednim. Nagrodę ustanowił w 1947 pisarz William Somerset Maugham, stąd jej nazwa. Obecnie każdy z laureatów otrzymuje 6000 funtów, które ma wydać na podróże zagraniczne; całkowity fundusz wynosi 12000 funtów rocznie.

Od 1964 jury wybiera zazwyczaj kilku laureatów. W 1975 i 2012 nagrody nie przyznano. Dwukrotnie zdarzyło się, że wygrał syn laureata z lat wcześniejszych: Martin Amis jest synem Kingsleya Amisa, a Mathew Kneale – Nigela Kneale’a.
