I am a Hungarian historian from Slovakia. I have read the very interesting article on Wikipedia about the system of hatching (szrafowanie). The Polish hatching (szrafowanie) for the tictures szary, naturalny, cielisty, and furs (futer) łasica, and soból is very interesting to me, because its quite different from the systems found in other countries. I am writing now a comprehensive article about tinctures in heraldry. So, please could you tell me the sources where I can read more about this art of hatching or where I can find other reading on this topic. Is it a genuine Polish system or applied from other country?
