Historia obiektu
Deutsch: Das Ahornblatt ist "redend"; das stilisierte Schloss Ahorn ist das Wahrzeichen der Gemeinde. Die Farben grün und gelb weisen dabei auf die Zugehörigkeit der Gemeinde zum ehemaligen Wettiner Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg hin. Das silberne Schloss auf blauem Hintergrund entstammen dem Wappen der Familie der Freiherren von Erffa.
English: The maple (Ahorn) leaf is a canting element. The base shows the local castle in the colours of the Lords of Erffa, who own the castle since 1843. Green and silver are also the colours of the former County Sachsen-Coburg to which the area belonged.
