Nederlands: Wapenschild van de Gilmores in Craigmillar Castle, een goed bewaard 15de eeuws kasteel in Edinburgh (Schotland). De herdenkingsplaat werd door de afstammelingen van sir John Gilmour, die de west range aanbouwde, aan het kasteel aangeboden. De pennen herinneren aan het feit dat sir John voorzitter van de Court of Session, het hoogste Schotse burgerlijke gerechtshof.
English: Armorial panel above the west range in Craigmillar Castle and Dovecot, a ruined medieval castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was put up by the descendants of sir John Gilmour, the builder of the seventeenth century west range. The three quil pens on the left recall sir John's position as president of the Court of Session, the highest civil court in Scotland.
