Samce mają silnie zakrzywione górne przydatki analne zakrzywione, których wewnętrzny ząb opatrzony jest szeroką koroną[5].
Ważka ta jest endemitem południowo-zachodniej Australii, gdzie rozmnaża się w strumieniach i bagnach, także tych wysychających latem[5].
