Dobry wieczór, przepraszam, że nie piszę po polsku. I have a specific issue and a general issue.
* Firstly, could someone please have a look at [[Linia kolejowa Węgliniec – Roßlau]] and [[Dyskusja:Linia kolejowa Węgliniec – Roßlau#Właściwy przebieg linii oraz nazwa|this discussion]]. I fear that there things going on – or at least in preparation – that might be doubtful and not useful. In this specific case I still fear that it is ''not'' a good idea to split this article up into separate articles for the polish (PLK lk 295) and the german part (DB Netz lk 6207). And even if it was useful (which I don't believe in this specific case) it doesn't make sense to create a separate article [[Linia kolejowa nr 495]] for the german cross-border section, which is definitely part of DB Netz line 6207.
* Secondly, despite this very specific case I fear that a general problem has arised:
** [[Linia kolejowa nr 491]] is not a separate railway line, it's part of [[Linia kolejowa Chociebuż – Forst]] (DB Netz 6205)
** [[Linia kolejowa nr 499]] is not a separate railway line, it's part of [[Linia kolejowa Szczecin – Berlin]] (or better correctly: linia kolejowa Angermünde - Tantow – GP]] (DB Netz 6328)
** [[Linia kolejowa nr 492]] is not a separate railway line as well, it is part of [[Linia kolejowa Berlin – Küstrin Kietz]] (DB Netz 6078)
** [[Linia kolejowa nr 493]] indeed is a separate railway line, but definitely with number ''6211'' (DB Netz), not 493 as „official name”
** etc.
Generally speaking: I don't think that internal numbers assigned by PLK for foreign sections (which probably truely are necessary for certain internal issues) are good reasons to split up articles and to create more and more mini-articles, which are both hard to maintain and also redundant to existing (or at least to not existing, but useful and wanted) articles about about officially designated railway lines outside Poland. I'm apologizing if this issue has been discussed before. I simply couldn't find it then.
