Lygidea mendax |
Owad występujący w Ameryce Północnej, groźny szkodnik sadów jabłoniowych. Zarówno imago jak i młode larwy tego gatunku żywią się sokami wysysanymi z liści, starsze larwy atakują młode owoce[2][3].
