Seria GP2 – sezon 2015 – był 11. sezonem w historii serii oraz 5. po połączeniu europejskiej i azjatyckiej edycji. Zgodnie z kalendarzem Formuły 1 zmagania rozpoczęły się 5 kwietnia na torze Sakhir w Bahrajnie, natomiast zakończyły 29 listopada na Yas Marina w Abu Zabi. Tytuł mistrzowski w klasyfikacji kierowców zdobył Belg Stoffel Vandoorne, a wśród konstruktorów – francuska ekipa ART Grand Prix.

- Od nowego sezonu zostanie wprowadzone ruchome tylne skrzydło (w języku angielskim Drag Reduction System), które od 2011 roku jest stosowane w Formule 1[40].

- Zespół startujący w GP3 – Status GP – przejął stajnię Caterham Racing w 2014 roku, jednak dopiero od tego sezonu będzie widnieć pod własną nazwą[41].

Kalendarz serii GP2 na sezon 2015 został zatwierdzony 10 grudnia 2014 roku. Będzie składał się z jedenastu rund. Wyścig w Niemczech został zastąpiony dodatkową rundą w Bahrajnie[43][44].
